We are gonna do this, BUT, our vanity will be closer to the wall, SO, we will put a door on the top half, and use it for storage of every day items in baskets like we do now - take the basket out, use it, and put it back) THEN, the bottom half will be open from the other side, which faces into my walk in closet! PERFECT for shoe shelves!!! Bazinga!!
